Captain Marvel 2 has been officially announced. The film will see Brie Larson reprising her roles as Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel. Apart from her, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani are also going to appear in the film as Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel respectively.

Younger Monica Rambeau was seen in Captain Marvel. She is the daughter of Carol Danvers’ friend Maria Rambeau. A grown-up Monica Rambeau played by Teyonah Parris will be seen in the upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision.

Iman Vellani is Ms. Marvel. She is getting her very own Disney+ series that is rumored to be released at the end of 2021. The filming for the series is underway.

There are very few details about the upcoming Fantastic Four film. Of course, we know that it will be a fresh reboot. The film will be directed by Jon Watts who is known for directing Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and is currently directing the untitled Spider-Man 3 film.

The rights for X-men and Fantastic Four were with 20th Century Fox but with Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox, the rights for X-men and Fantastic Four came back to Marvel. Since then fans have been eagerly waiting for the introduction of Fantastic Four and X-men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Though we know nothing about X-men in MCU, we finally are going to see the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

These were all the movies that were announced by Disney recently. Marvel Studious is yet to give updates on Blade and Deadpool. The Blade was announced in 2019 but has no updates since then. We all know that Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool is coming to the MCU but Marvel Studious has not revealed anything about the same.

So, I guess we will have to wait for some more time to receive updates regarding Blade and Deadpool.
