Treasurer Jose Cisneros Gives His Take On Fines And Fees

Treasurer Jose Cisneros thinks the idea of fines is a lose-lose situation for the people and the government. Therefore, provisions will be made so that the lower-income group can avoid such expenses. Moreover, he said, “Someone should not face a bigger consequence because their bank account is smaller. And we should not balance our budget on the backs of people who can least afford it.”
