South Carolina Senator Thinks GOP Can’t Grow Without Donald Trump

South Carolina Lindsey Graham thinks the Republican party cannot expand if they don’t have the support of former President Donald Trump. In an interview with Sean Hannity, he extended his support for Trump and asked his fellow Republicans to accept it. Moreover, Lindsey said, “I would just say to my Republican colleagues: ‘Can we move forward without President Trump?’ The answer is no. I’ve always liked Liz Cheney, but she’s made a determination that the Republican Party can’t grow with President Trump. I’ve determined we can’t grow without him.”

Lindsey Graham Credits Donald Trump For GOP Growing Among Minorities

Senator Lindsey Graham believes that the Republican party has found a connection with minorities due to Trump. He thinks the people of America are supporting the ‘America First’ agenda of Trump. However, the reality is contrary to that. The minorities like the Blacks have been against Trump especially after the George Floyd incident. Trump’s lack of support for the Black community hurt him during the election. The Muslim travel ban he imposed also drew hatred from Muslims and other Americans. Furthermore, Lindsey said, “The reason our party is growing with minorities and with working men and women is because President Trump appears to be on the side of people working really hard, appears to be on the side of opportunity not dependency, because he is.”
